An investment management firm is seeking an Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Attorney to join its Legal & Compliance team. Employee Benefits Attorney will be responsible for…
- Advising internal stakeholders on the legal and commercial aspects of executive compensation and employee benefits
- Drafting, negotiating, and analyzing compensation arrangements, including cash and equity plans
- Supporting the design and implementation of employee benefits programs
- Researching and advising on legal issues across the firm's existing businesses and new initiatives
- Providing guidance on regulatory and compliance considerations related to compensation structures
Employee Benefits Attorney should have the following qualifications:
- JD and strong academic background
- 4+ years of relevant experience in executive compensation and benefits (law firm and/or in-house)
- Experience drafting complex compensation arrangements, ideally within financial services or investment management
- Familiarity with ERISA and the Affordable Care Act preferred
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills with high attention to detail
