Employment Litigation Associate
My client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate to join the Labor & Employment Department in their San Francisco office. Applicants interested in working from the Santa Monica office will also be considered.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate with 3-4 years of employment law experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, be a member of the California Bar, and demonstrate exceptional written and oral advocacy skills. The ability to manage cases and assignments independently with minimal supervision is essential. While labor law experience is preferred, it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, disability accommodation, and sexual harassment
Handle employee unfair competition and trade secret disputes
Defend against wage and hour class and collective actions
Provide counsel on complex state, local, and federal employment laws and regulations
Assist clients in developing proactive policies and procedures to mitigate legal risk
Work collaboratively with experienced attorneys across the firm's national Labor & Employment Practice
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
3-4 years of relevant employment law experience
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters independently
California Bar admission required
