I'm partnered with a highly regarded and growing regional law firm seeking a Senior Corporate M&A Counsel or Partner to join and help expand its thriving corporate practice in Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney looking to take on sophisticated transactional work while playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of a collaborative and expanding platform.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience handling a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general business counseling. Candidates should be comfortable leading complex deals, managing client relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor to middle-market businesses and investors.

Qualifications

* 6+ years of corporate/M&A experience gained at a law firm
* Significant experience leading and negotiating mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex business transactions
* Strong client management and business development skills
* Experience mentoring junior attorneys and collaborating across practice groups
* Tennessee bar admission or ability to become admitted
