Contracts Manager
Position Summary
This role supports the business through contract review, negotiation, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This individual will also help lead compliance initiatives and provide guidance on contractual and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage customer, supplier, and commercial agreements.
- Advise business leaders on contract risk, obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government contracting regulations.
- Support government contracts, compliance programs, and contract-related training.
- Manage contract tracking and documentation systems.
- Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to resolve contract issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in contracts management, contract law, or business management coming from a defense contractor.
- Strong understanding of contract negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance.
- Experience with government contracting and regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and OFAC preferred.
- Law degree or equivalent contracts-focused education/certification.
- NCMA certifications (CCCM, CPCM, or CFCM) preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance may be required.
- U.S. Person status required due to export-control regulations.
