As a Contract Specialist, you'll play a key role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction-related contracts. You'll support project teams, legal counsel, and procurement functions to ensure contracts align with business goals and risk tolerance.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and service contracts
- Collaborate with legal, project management, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation
- Support contract lifecycle management, including amendments, renewals, and closeouts
- Assist in developing and maintaining contract templates and playbooks
- Provide guidance on contractual obligations, terms, and conditions
- Track and manage contract-related documentation and deadlines
✅ Qualifications
- Extensive experience with construction contracts (commercial, industrial, or infrastructure preferred)
- Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and construction delivery methods
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- JD is not required, but legal education or paralegal experience is a plus
- Experience with contract management systems is a bonus
