Position Overview
We are seeking a talented attorney to join the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice in New York or Northern New Jersey. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to work on high-profile matters for national clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of complex litigation cases from inception through resolution
- Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented environment
- Provide strategic guidance and timely updates to clients
- Participate in mediations, court appearances, and settlement negotiations
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- 3+ years of defense litigation experience, ideally in general liability, personal injury, transportation, or catastrophic injury defense
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex matters and build strong client relationships
