About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years of hands‑on transactional experience to support our legal team in managing complex real estate matters across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise commercial real estate documents, including purchase & sale agreements, LOIs, leases, amendments, estoppels, SNDAs, closing documents, and corporate governance materials.
  • Manage and coordinate real estate closings, from contract execution through post‑closing, including preparation of closing checklists, signature packages, and closing binders.
  • Conduct and review due diligence, including title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, environmental reports, organizational documents, UCC searches, and lien searches.
  • Interface with title companies, lenders, brokers, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate flow of information.
  • Maintain corporate entity records and assist with entity formation, foreign qualifications, registered agent filings, and good standing certificates.
  • Track critical dates and ensure compliance with key obligations within leases and agreements.
  • Organize and maintain document management systems, virtual data rooms, and transaction files.
  • Support attorneys with research, project management, and transaction coordination as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience within a law firm or in‑house legal department.
  • Strong understanding of title and survey review, commercial leasing, real estate financing, and development processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management platforms, and virtual data rooms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required.
