Commercial Litigation Attorney

A well-established, full-service law firm with a strong reputation for excellence in complex litigation is looking for a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This position will be part of the Construction and Commercial Litigation Practice groups to represent contractors, subcontracts, developers, suppliers, and corporate clients in high-stakes disputes throughout the state and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation complex construction and business disputes, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to manage cases independently.

Commercial Litigation Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all phases of construction and commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts and related documents.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients.

Commercial Litigation Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school (Top 50 is preferred).
  • Active license to practice law in Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on construction and/or commercial matters.
  • Trial experience and/or clerkship is a plus.
