Associate Corporate Counsel
We are partnered with a global, clinical-stage biotechnology company seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support its expanding operations. This role is heavily focused on high-volume commercial contracting, offering the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders and senior legal leadership as the company continues to scale toward commercialization
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, including master services agreements, consulting agreements, SaaS agreements, supply/manufacturing agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Partner with designated business functions, providing legal advice across day-to-day contracting matters.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including Procurement, Finance, Commercial, IT, and R&D to drive contract execution.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, and internal policies to enhance consistency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- 4-8 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on commercial contracting and transactional work.
- Prior experience within the life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility for in-house registration).
