Associate Attorney
Litigation Attorney (3-15 Years) | Bay Area Hybrid
A well-established and growing California litigation firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-15 years of experience to join its expanding Bay Area practice. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful client interaction, and the ability to work on a diverse portfolio of high-exposure cases.
The firm's practice includes the defense of personal injury, product liability, and general liability matters, along with business, insurance, and real estate-related litigation. Attorneys are given substantial responsibility and are encouraged to take an active role in case strategy and client relationships.
Qualifications
- 3-15 years of litigation experience
- Experience handling personal injury defense, product liability, and/or general liability matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Deposition experience preferred
- Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Trial preparation and courtroom experience are a plus for more senior candidates
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses
- Take and defend depositions
- Develop and execute litigation strategy
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Communicate directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $150,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications

Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position. Attorneys are expected to be in the office approximately 3-4 days per week during onboarding and integration, with additional flexibility available thereafter based on performance and practice needs. The position is not fully remote.
