About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development projects, financings, joint ventures, and portfolio deals.
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence, including review of title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and entity structure considerations.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts and transactional documentation for real estate, corporate, and investment‑related matters.
- Provide guidance on fund formation, investment structures, and governance matters, ensuring alignment with regulatory and investor requirements.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 4+ years of legal experience involving real estate transactions, investment structures, or fund‑related work-law firm experience preferred.
- Experience handling both commercial and residential real estate matters.
- Strong familiarity with California real estate laws and regulatory considerations (or a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to California‑specific requirements).
- Strong command of contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment.
