A leading national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Special Counsel with 7+ years of employment law experience to join its Virtual Office, offering a predominantly remote practice with the backing of one of the most respected L&E platforms in the country. Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative agency charges, attorney demand letters, and single‑plaintiff employment litigation for a broad roster of clients.
- Lead case strategy and supervise team members, ensuring high‑quality work product.
- Conduct and defend depositions, draft and review pleadings and motions, and represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials.
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the Virtual Office, with support from paralegals and shared administrative resources.
- Potential involvement in class actions, PAGA matters, and other labor & employment issues.
- Travel as needed (primarily local).
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in good standing; California admission preferred.
- 7+ years of experience handling employment law matters and litigation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness.
- Prior law firm experience and familiarity with EPLI‑related matters strongly preferred.
