Attorney - Insurance Coverage Litigation

A leading insurance coverage practice is seeking an Attorney with 2+ years of litigation experience to join a high-performing team handling complex, high-value, and high-profile insurance matters across the United States. This group represents both U.S. and international insurers in sophisticated coverage litigation and market conduct (bad faith) disputes.
The practice focuses on a broad range of coverage issues, including:
- Commercial general liability
- Commercial property (business interruption, pollution)
- Errors & omissions (lawyers, agents, accountants)
- Directors & officers
This role offers exceptional exposure to advanced insurance issues and the opportunity to work on impactful cases that shape the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and craft well‑supported coverage opinions and recommendations.
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
- Draft interrogatories, document requests, and other litigation documents.
- Review and analyze case materials in preparation for discovery and hearings.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings as needed.
Qualifications
- Admission to practice law in Florida.
- At least 2 years of litigation experience - strong general litigators will be fully considered, even without prior insurance coverage experience.
- Strong academic credentials; Law Review or Honors preferred.
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
