Associate Corporate Counsel
My Client is a global medical technology company seeking an experienced Commercial & Corporate Counsel to join its growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and transactional law and will be responsible for negotiating complex commercial agreements, advising internal stakeholders, and supporting the company's commercial operations and legal compliance. This position is onsite in Florida, and the company offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, SaaS, manufacturing, supply, distribution, software, confidentiality, consulting, and service agreements
- Provide practical legal guidance to internal teams on contractual and operational matters.
- Assist with addressing legal issues involving ongoing business relationships.
- Support corporate compliance and help ensure alignment with applicable legal requirements.
- Advise leadership on relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- May provide oversight or guidance to legal support personnel.
Qualifications
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of corporate and transactional law experience gained within a law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
- Experience in the medical device, life sciences, or technology industry preferred.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and legal research abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, onsite corporate environment.
