The Opportunity

Our Client is seeking a talented Real Estate Associate to join its growing and highly regarded property practice. The team advises a broad range of clients including developers, investors, occupiers, lenders, public sector organisations and corporate clients on complex and high-value real estate matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to develop their career within a collaborative national practice that offers high-quality work, strong partner access and genuine progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property assets.
Managing landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations, renewals and portfolio management.
Supporting development and regeneration projects.
Advising on real estate aspects of corporate transactions and financings.
Undertaking title investigations and due diligence exercises.
Drafting and negotiating transactional documents, including:
- Sale and purchase agreements
- Agreements for lease
- Leases and licences
- Development agreements
- Ancillary property documentation
Liaising directly with clients, agents, lenders and other stakeholders.
Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
Ideally 1-4 years' PQE gained within a recognised commercial real estate practice.
Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters.
Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable Experience

Investment acquisitions and disposals.
Development and regeneration projects.
Asset management work.
Real estate finance transactions.
Experience acting for institutional investors, developers or corporate occupiers.
