Traditional Labor Attorney
A national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Traditional Labor Associate to join its expanding traditional labor practice. Ideal candidates will bring strong academic credentials, hands‑on experience with core traditional labor matters, and a commitment to representing management in high‑stakes labor relations.
Traditional Labor Attorney Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide range of traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining strategy, contract interpretation, and labor‑management relations.
- Represent employers in unfair labor practice investigations and litigation before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
- Support and counsel clients during union organizing campaigns, elections, and representation proceedings.
- Prepare for and conduct labor arbitrations, including factual investigation, witness preparation, and hearing advocacy.
- Assist in collective bargaining negotiations
- Advise on compliance with the NLRA and evolving labor regulatory requirements.
- Work directly with HR leaders, executives, and in‑house counsel to address grievances, workplace disputes, and union‑related matters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex, multi-jurisdictional labor strategies and national‑level labor initiatives.
Traditional Labor Attorney Qualifications:
- 3+ years of traditional labor law experience at a law firm or comparable setting.
- Demonstrated experience in collective bargaining, NLRB matters, unfair labor practice litigation, union campaigns/representation, and labor arbitration.
- Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
- Licensed attorney in the candidate's state of residence
