About the Role

A top‑tier US law firm in London is seeking a Structured Credit Associate (1-5 PQE) to join their credit practice group. This team works on transactions that sit at the heart of the global structured credit markets, advising arrangers, managers, originators, private credit funds, and institutional investors on some of the most sophisticated deals in the sector.

Key Focus Areas

In this role, you'll work extensively on:

  • CLOs & Structured Credit Products
    • European and global CLO issuances (new issues, resets, refinancings)
    • Collateralised fund obligations (CFOs) and managed account structures
    • Advising CLO managers and arrangers on execution, compliance, and regulatory matters
  • Securitisation & Asset‑Backed Transactions
    • Private and public securitisations backed by a wide range of assets (consumer, SME, specialty finance)
    • Warehouse facilities, forward‑flow arrangements, and receivables financing structures
    • Structuring bespoke transactions for alternative capital providers
  • Structured Lending & Fund Finance Adjacent Work
    • Portfolio financings, NAV‑based lending, and hybrid structures
    • Financing solutions for private credit funds, specialty lenders, and fintech originators

Who We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • UK-qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 1-5 PQE in Structured Credit, Securitisation, Structured Finance, or CLO work
  • Experience acting for CLO managers, arrangers, banks, or private credit funds
  • Strong transactional drafting skills and comfort with term sheets, offering memoranda, and priority of payments
  • An analytical mindset with interest in capital markets and structured products
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, deal‑driven environment
