A leading national labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Special Counsel to join its fully remote practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to handle sophisticated employment matters while enjoying greater flexibility and no business development expectations.
The role focuses on administrative charges, attorney demand letters, EPLI matters, and employment litigation. Attorneys will manage cases from inception through resolution, including developing case strategy, drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions, conducting depositions, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, and trials. There will also be opportunities to supervise and mentor attorneys while working closely with an experienced nationwide team.
This position offers exposure to a broad range of labor and employment matters, including single-plaintiff litigation, with potential involvement in class actions and PAGA matters. Attorneys are supported by dedicated paralegals and administrative resources, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality legal work.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 7+ years of labor & employment law experience
- Strong employment litigation background
- Active California bar membership in good standing
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
