My client is a leading and growing Data Centre firm, and we are recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the global business on all legal related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities for this Senior Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role
- Draft, review, and negotiate colocation agreements, MSAs/SLAs, vendor contracts, construction and engineering agreements.
- Advise on PDPA, telecoms licensing, energy efficiency rules, and data centre regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital infrastructure and cross border data flows.
- Assist with joint ventures, partnerships, and market entry initiatives.
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Manage external counsel for disputes or specialised regulatory matters.
Requirements for this Senior Legal Counsel - Leading Data Centre role -
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification, Singapore qualified
- 12+ years of legal experience, including 3-5 years in data centres or related infrastructure sectors.
- Strong expertise in commercial contracting, construction law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
