A nationally respected litigation firm is seeking an experienced attorney with 15+ years of insurance defense experience to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is geared toward seasoned litigators who enjoy practicing law at a high level and want to remain hands-on with complex matters while working alongside a team of accomplished trial attorneys. The practice offers a steady flow of sophisticated litigation, strong support, and the resources of a national platform within a collaborative and flexible environment.

What You'll Do
- Independently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle depositions, court appearances, mediations, and motion practice
- Develop case strategy and provide practical guidance to clients
- Prepare case evaluations and resolution recommendations
- Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
- Participate in trials and significant litigation proceedings
- Collaborate with a highly experienced team of litigators on high-exposure matters
Qualifications
- 15+ years of litigation experience
- Active Illinois Bar admission
- Insurance defense experience required
- Trial experience required
- First or second chair trial experience strongly preferred
- Extensive deposition and motion practice experience
- Experience handling general liability, transportation, construction, premises liability, and/or products liability matters

Compensation: $190,000-$200,000+ base salary, plus bonus potential.
