Real Estate Paralegal

My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Real Estate Paralegal to support their in-house legal team in managing the company's real estate portfolio. This role will focus on lease administration, property acquisitions and dispositions, zoning and permitting, and supporting real estate transactions across our manufacturing and distribution sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and revise real estate documents including leases, amendments, easements, purchase agreements, and closing documents.
  • Coordinate due diligence for property acquisitions and dispositions, including title and survey review, environmental reports, and zoning compliance.
  • Maintain and manage the company's real estate database, including lease tracking, critical dates, and document management.
  • Assist with lease negotiations and renewals in collaboration with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
  • Support real estate-related litigation or disputes, including gathering documentation and coordinating with external legal teams.
  • Liaise with landlords, tenants, brokers, and municipal agencies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal real estate regulations.
  • Provide general legal support to the real estate and facilities teams.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, lease administration, and property law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
