Real Estate Associate
A well regarded international law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate to join its London real estate practice. The team advises on a broad range of high quality commercial property matters for domestic and international clients across multiple sectors.
The role
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Development projects, including mixed use schemes
- Landlord and tenant matters for both institutional landlords and occupiers
- Asset management work across varied property portfolios
- Corporate real estate support on transactions and restructurings
- Acting for investors, developers, lenders and occupiers across sectors such as retail, office, logistics and mixed use
The role offers strong client exposure, early responsibility and the opportunity to be involved in complex, often cross border transactions.
Candidate profile
- England and Wales qualified solicitor
- Typically 2 to 5 years PQE, although candidates outside this range will be considered on merit
- Strong grounding in commercial real estate transactions from a recognised real estate practice
- Experience handling matters with a good level of autonomy while working collaboratively within a team
- Commercially minded, with a practical approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships
