Paralegal- Real Estate
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and joint venture investments
* Coordinate diligence, closing checklists, and document execution
* Track key deal milestones and closing deliverables
* Review and organize due diligence materials (leases, title, surveys, zoning reports, etc.)
* Assist in the preparation and review of purchase agreements, NDAs, and ancillary documents
* Maintain deal files and data rooms
* Support lender financings and refinancing transactions
* Assist with corporate filings, entity formation, and maintenance of organizational documents
* Track legal obligations and key dates related to portfolio investments
* Help manage post-closing obligations, reporting requirements, and compliance matters
* Liaise with property managers, lenders, and external counsel
* Maintain legal trackers, templates, and document repositories
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders across legal, compliance, tax, and investment teams
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required
* 2-5+ years of paralegal experience (law firm or in-house preferred)
* Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions strongly preferred
* Familiarity with private equity real estate, REIT, or asset management platforms is a plus
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
* High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
