Mid-Level Employment Associate - Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or Santa Monica
A nationally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a Mid‑Level Employment Associate with strong experience in both litigation and counseling to join its Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or Santa Monica office. This is an excellent opportunity to advise cutting‑edge early‑stage and mid‑stage companies while also handling impactful employment litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise employers on a broad range of employment law issues, including wage/hour compliance, terminations, reductions in force, leaves of absence, workplace investigations, and worker classification assessments.
- Draft, review, and refine employment agreements, offer letters, compensation plans, handbooks, and separation agreements.
- Manage single‑plaintiff and complex employment litigation matters.
- Provide guidance on employment discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, trade secrets, non‑competes, privacy, and other workplace issues.
- Support clients in developing personnel policies, compliance practices, and risk‑management strategies.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active membership in the California Bar.
- 3-7 YOE in employment law, preferably including litigation and counseling.
