We are partnered with a reputable national client seeking a mid-level attorney to join their Insurance Recovery & Counseling Group practice in Washington D.C. The ideal candidate will have 3-9 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent policyholders in insurance recovery and coverage matters.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions for state and federal court proceedings.
  • Conduct and manage discovery, including depositions and discovery motions.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex litigation matters.
  • Take ownership of significant projects and manage multiple time-sensitive assignments.

Qualifications:

  • 3-9 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance recovery or coverage.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Experience with depositions, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Admission to the DC Bar or eligibility to apply for DC Bar admission is required

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $185,000 - $265,000 annually - Actual compensation will depend on qualifications and experience.
  • Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 hours - Includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work.
