A global Am Law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a sophisticated litigation team handling complex commercial disputes for national and international clients. Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive court filings.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Manage written discovery, document review, and discovery disputes.
- Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings.
- Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.
- Coordinate with clients, in-house counsel, experts, and litigation teams.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- 4-8 years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing discovery, motion practice, and litigation strategy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and case management abilities.
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.
- Automotive product liability experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
