The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an attorney seeking to deepen their employment litigation experience while working on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base. Associates receive meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the support of experienced practitioners invested in developing the next generation of employment lawyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle employment law matters through all phases of litigation
  • Defend wage and hour, PAGA, class action, and other workplace-related claims
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other substantive legal filings
  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings
  • Collaborate with attorneys across teams on complex employment law issues
  • Advise clients on employment-related risks, compliance, and litigation strategy

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar membership
  • +3 years of labor and employment litigation experience preferred
  • Experience handling wage and hour matters, representative actions, or complex employment litigation
  • Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent communication and client service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice
  • Interest in leveraging emerging technologies and innovative legal tools to enhance client service
