Insurance Coverage Attorney

A global law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience to join its expanding insurance practice. This opportunity is open across multiple offices nationwide and offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative team handling sophisticated coverage matters for a broad range of clients.

Insurance Coverage Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and advise on complex insurance coverage disputes and claims.
  • Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and related coverage analyses.
  • Represent insurers in coverage litigation and other insurance-related matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and client strategy discussions.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to case strategy and business objectives.

Insurance Coverage Attorney Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • Active bar membership and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 2-7 years of law firm experience required.
  • Experience with insurance coverage, coverage counseling, or insurance-related litigation preferred.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience handling commercial litigation, professional liability, general liability, property, or other insurance-related matters is a plus.
