A prestigious, top-ranked law firm is offering a fully remote opportunity for an experienced Financial Restructuring Attorney to join its nationally recognized Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice. This role places you at the forefront of sophisticated financial restructurings, distressed transactions, and high-stakes insolvency matters.

You'll advise a broad and dynamic client base-including national and regional banks, creditors, and private equity-backed portfolio companies-on complex legal and financial challenges across a wide range of industries.

Financial Restructuring Attorney Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of financial restructuring transactions, including in-court and out-of-court restructurings, distressed M&A, and special situations investing.
  • Advise creditors, debtors, investors, and other stakeholders on bankruptcy strategy, creditor rights, intercreditor issues, and restructuring negotiations.
  • Draft and negotiate complex restructuring agreements, including restructuring support agreements, DIP financing documents, and asset purchase agreements.
  • Provide strategic counsel on Chapter 11 proceedings, insolvency litigation, and cross-border restructuring matters.
  • Stay current on bankruptcy law, financial regulations, and market trends to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.

Financial Restructuring Attorney Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial restructuring, bankruptcy, or distressed finance, preferably at a leading law firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex restructuring matters from inception through resolution.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and negotiation skills, with a keen attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
