Labor & Employment Associate (4-6 YOE)

AmLaw 100 Firm | Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston) | Hybrid

A nationally recognized AmLaw firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its growing Labor & Employment group with a focus on class action litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team handling sophisticated matters with meaningful exposure to trial work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, wage & hour, and class/collective actions
  • Handle matters before federal and state agencies (EEOC, DOL), including drafting position statements and managing investigations
  • Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and support trial preparation
  • Counsel clients on employment law compliance and day-to-day workplace issues
  • Draft and review workplace policies, handbooks, and employment agreements

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of labor & employment litigation experience
  • Experience with class action and/or wage & hour matters preferred
  • Strong writing, research, and advocacy skills
  • Background advising employers on federal and state employment laws
  • Texas bar admission required
