ECVC Associate Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented ECVC Attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join a dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing emerging growth companies and venture capital investors in financing transactions, corporate governance, and general counseling.
ECVC Attorney Key Responsibilities
- Advise startups and emerging growth companies on formation, structuring, and governance.
- Draft and negotiate venture financing documents, including SAFEs, convertible notes, and preferred stock financings.
- Represent venture capital funds and strategic investors in investment transactions.
- Counsel clients on day-to-day corporate matters, including equity compensation, commercial agreements, and compliance.
- Assist with M&A transactions involving emerging companies.
ECVC Attorney Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- 3-7 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on emerging companies and venture capital.
- Strong understanding of venture financing structures and market terms.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
ECVC Attorney Preferred Experience
- Exposure to technology and life sciences sectors is a plus.
- Experience with private equity or growth equity transactions is beneficial.
