Corporate/M&A Associate
A Top Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Corporate/M&A Associate with 4-8 years of experience to join its growing transactional practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded team advising private equity sponsors, strategic buyers, portfolio companies, and corporate clients on a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and other complex corporate matters. Attorneys will gain substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to high-profile middle-market and upper middle-market deals.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* 4-8 years of experience handling Corporate/M&A matters in a law firm environment
* Strong experience representing private equity sponsors, strategic acquirors, and corporate clients
* Proven ability to draft and negotiate purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary transaction documents
* Experience managing due diligence processes, transaction execution, and deal closings
* Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
* Excellent academic credentials and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
* Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission
