Corporate Attorney
A nationally recognized client is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join its dynamic and expanding team. This opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of sophisticated corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, fund formation, and complex financing matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
- Advise clients on entity structuring, governance, and operational matters across a range of industries.
- Support the formation, structuring, and compliance of investment vehicles and corporate entities.
- Negotiate and structure complex financing arrangements and capital transactions.
- Draft, review, and manage a broad spectrum of corporate and transactional documents.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
- Contribute to a collaborative, mentorship-focused team culture.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Active license, or ability to waive into practice law in Illinois.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $200,000 to $350,000, commensurate with experience.
