Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and manage commercial and government contract activities across our aerospace manufacturing programs. This role is critical to ensuring our agreements are structured effectively, compliant with regulations, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of aerospace contracting, a proven background in commercial contract negotiations, and hands-on experience with U.S. Government contracting (FAR/DFARS).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full contract lifecycle-from proposal support, drafting, negotiation, and execution to closeout.
- Review and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply agreements, NDAs, purchase orders, and long-term agreements.
- Lead government contract activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable FAR/DFARS requirements and internal policies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between the company, customers, suppliers, and government agencies.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing guidance to internal teams including engineering, supply chain, legal, finance, and program management.
- Prepare and review contract change proposals, modifications, and customer correspondence.
- Support pricing and proposal efforts, ensuring contract terms align with business goals and cost structures.
- Maintain accurate contract records, monitor performance obligations, and ensure timely fulfillment of deliverables.
- Develop and improve internal contract processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contract structures and negotiation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with U.S. Government contracting, including FAR/DFARS.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with multiple priorities.
