Compliance Officer - Frankfurt (m/w/d)
About the Role
This is a newly created position within a growing Compliance team, offering the opportunity to play a key role in fostering a strong compliance culture and contributing to strategic regulatory initiatives.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the organization remains aligned with evolving regulatory requirements while strengthening internal compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and maintain the company's compliance strategy
- Support the development and implementation of compliance manuals, policies, and procedures
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business
- Oversee compliance with relevant prudential regulations
- Deliver training and guidance to employees on compliance matters
- Support and further develop the outsourcing oversight framework in line with internal policies
- Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and supervisory bodies
- Continuously develop expertise in compliance (e.g., ACAMS, CISI certifications)
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, or transferable experience in risk, audit, consulting, or financial supervision
- Strong knowledge of German and EU regulatory frameworks (MaComp, MaRisk, WpHG, MiFID II, MiFIR, MAR)
- Structured, proactive mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
- Fluency in German and English
