Complex Commercial Litigation Associate
Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of complex commercial litigation experience to join their Chambers-ranked CCL practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile matters involving some of the industry's most sophisticated business disputes, securities litigation, and white collar defense matters.
Role Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and related proceedings.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and strategic insight.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client counseling.
- Manage depositions, hearings, and trial preparation in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility for admission).
- 2-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation within a BigLaw environment.
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in high-stakes litigation and client service excellence.
This firm pays an incredibly competitive compensation package (commensurate with the leading NY law firms) - base salaries will range from $220,000-$425,000.
