A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Products Liability & Toxic Tort practice in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation alongside a collaborative team of experienced trial lawyers and litigators.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and a strong interest in handling complex matters involving products liability, toxic torts, catastrophic injury claims, and other high-exposure litigation. Attorneys in this role will gain hands-on experience managing challenging cases from inception through resolution while working directly with clients and senior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the defense of complex products liability and toxic tort matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
- Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery, document review, depositions, and expert-related matters.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in California, or ability to obtain admission promptly.
- 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.
- Experience handling complex litigation matters; products liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, or high-exposure litigation experience is strongly preferred.
