We're partnered with a leading nonprofit Health System in the DFW area looking to add to their already growing legal team! The position allows for the chance to work with senior legal partners and business stakeholders and has an outlined path for trajectory and upward mobility within the org. Serving as an Assistant General Counsel, you will help support all hospital operations & regulatory compliance matters.

The AGC will be responsible for:

  • Handling all Hospital Operation legal matters.
  • Advising on legal and regulatory compliance issues as they arise (e.g. physician contracting, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, Fraud & Abuse, etc.).

The AGC should possess the following qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed in TX (or willing to do so within first 6 months of employment).
  • 5 years of experience in Healthcare Law preferred.
  • 7+ years of total legal experience.
