Legal Counsel / Associate-VP (Structured Finance)

A leading financial institution is expanding its structured finance platform and is looking for a Legal Counsel (Associate to VP level) to join its front-office team. This role goes beyond traditional legal support - the successful candidate will be involved in deal origination, structuring, and execution across a range of asset-backed financing transactions.
Key Highlights:
- Front-office legal role, working directly with deal originators.
- Involvement in end-to-end transaction management, including structuring, documentation, and negotiation.
- Exposure to complex financings backed by infrastructure and tangible assets.
- Opportunity to contribute to origination strategy and sponsor engagement.
Ideal Profile:
- 5-8 years PQE from a top-tier law firm or financial institution.
- Strong background in project finance, infrastructure, or structured lending.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations and manage transactions independently.
- Common law qualified (HK, UK, Australia, Singapore, etc.).
- Commercial mindset with strong communication skills.
- Additional language skills (Mandarin/Korean) are a plus but not required.
