About the Role
The Senior Complex Litigation Attorney will handle a diverse caseload involving general liability, personal injury, transportation, and catastrophic injury defense. The firm values attorneys who can manage files independently, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute to a culture grounded in teamwork, mutual respect, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Conduct investigations, prepare cases for trial, and handle court appearances, mediations, and depositions
- Develop and execute defense strategies in collaboration with partners and colleagues
- Provide timely reporting and strategic guidance to clients, maintaining strong professional relationships
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California Bar
- 8+ years of defense litigation experience, ideally in Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, or Transportation
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage complex matters and interact directly with clients
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience with legal project management is a plus
- First-chair trial experience is highly valued
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is determined based on several factors, including experience, education, licensure, geographic market, and organizational needs. The role is eligible for discretionary bonuses and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as:

Salary Range: $210,000 - $225,000 USD
