Senior Attorney
Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to join its nationally recognized Products Liability & Mass Torts practice in a non-partnership track capacity. This firm is consistently ranked among the nation's leading law firms and is known for handling high-stakes, complex litigation for Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries.
The Practice
The team defends manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and retailers in sophisticated product liability, toxic tort, and mass tort litigation throughout the United States. Attorneys work on matters involving cutting-edge industries including automotive, consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, technology, robotics, retail, and other emerging sectors. The practice routinely serves as national, regional, and trial counsel in high-exposure litigation and coordinated proceedings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 9+ years of Products Liability and/or Commercial Litigation experience
- Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Strong case management and strategic litigation skills
- Experience drafting dispositive motions, briefs, correspondence, and discovery responses
- Experience managing document collection, review, and production
- Familiarity with causation analysis, failure analysis, or similar technical issues
- Experience with multidistrict litigation (MDL) and/or coordinated state court proceedings
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong client-service orientation and collaborative mindset
- Active bar membership in their resident jurisdiction, with admission in Washington or California preferred
