Compensation: $165,000 - $240,000
Location: Fully Remote, but must reside in California
Summary:
Our client, a nationally recognized Am200 Law Firm, is looking to bring on a California barred attorney to join their Virtual Office (100% Remote) as a Labor & Employment Counsel. The firm reported just under $400 million in gross revenue in 2024 and holds a strong presence with over 500 attorneys, specializing in labor and employment law. This is an excellent fit for attorneys looking for flexibility while maintaining diverse experience in the Labor and Employment space.
This is a non partnership, alternative track opportunity with no business development necessary. Billable hours are on a reduced schedule and will range from 1700-1850 hours, depending on preference (compensation will be reflective of billable hours chosen.) You will be responsible for handling traditional employment litigation cases including, but not limited to, discrimination claims (race, gender, age), harassment claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, retaliation claims, and breach of employment contracts. Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) work will also be part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience in litigation, with preference to specialization in labor & employment law
2. Able to work in a remote setting
3. Previous experience in a law firm setting
4. Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited university
5. In good standing with the California Bar Association
6. Located in or willing to relocate to California
