Litigation Defense Trial Attorney
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Defense Trial Attorney to handle complex, high-exposure cases in the areas of general liability, catastrophic injury, and transportation claims. This role offers the chance to manage significant litigation matters and develop trial strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation involving general liability, catastrophic injury, and transportation-related claims.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Conduct depositions, draft pleadings and motions, and prepare witnesses for trial.
- Develop and execute trial strategies, including jury selection and courtroom advocacy.
- Provide risk analysis and legal advice on complex liability issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective case management and resolution.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to a U.S. state bar.
- 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in general liability, catastrophic injury, or transportation defense.
- Strong trial skills and familiarity with courtroom procedures.
- Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with trucking/transportation litigation and catastrophic injury cases.
- Familiarity with state and federal court systems.
- Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
