Overview
A leading provider of legal services is seeking a seasoned Employment Law Attorney to join its remote team as a CaseSmart Counsel, Charges Attorney. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact employment law matters in a flexible, remote-first environment with reduced billable hour requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters from investigation through resolution.
- Draft compelling position statements and respond to agency information requests.
- Represent clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and administrative agencies.
- Work within a tech-enabled, data-driven workflow designed to optimize legal service delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of employment law experience, preferably representing management.
- Strong familiarity with administrative agency charges at both federal and state levels.
- Proven ability to draft persuasive legal documents and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience in hearings and/or mediations is preferred.
- Must hold an active bar license in the state of residence.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
