A growing real estate firm is seeking an In‑House Attorney to support residential and commercial real estate transactions. This role works closely with internal teams, real estate professionals, and clients to provide practical legal guidance throughout the closing process and related title matters.
The position offers consistent client interaction, hands‑on transactional work, and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, service‑driven environment within a well‑established and expanding platform.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and facilitate residential and commercial real estate closings, ensuring transactions are completed properly and in line with applicable requirements
* Draft, examine, and finalize closing documents such as deeds, contracts, settlement paperwork, and related materials
* Serve as a legal advisor to clients, real estate professionals, lending partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction process
* Analyze public records and title materials, assisting with the identification and resolution of title‑related matters
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to training or educational initiatives tied to real estate transactions and settlement operations
Qualifications:
* Licensed attorney authorized to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia
* 3+ years of experience supporting real estate transactions, title matters, or settlement operations in a law firm, title company, or similar setting
* Working knowledge of real estate closing processes and transaction documentation
