Energy Transactional Associate Attorney (Project Finance)
We are currently partnered with a highly regarded client seeking a midlevel Attorney to join its Energy Transactional practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team on sophisticated renewable energy and infrastructure transactions, with strong deal flow and meaningful client exposure.
Energy Attorney Key Responsibilities:
* Advise clients on complex project finance and development transactions across the energy sector
* Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including financing agreements, tax equity structures, and project development contracts
* Support renewable energy and infrastructure deals from early-stage development through financing and closing
* Work closely with partners, clients, lenders, and investors on active deal teams
* Take ownership of discrete components of transactions while managing timelines and deliverables
* Collaborate with a highly integrated team on high-value, cross-functional matters
Energy Attorney Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in project finance and/or energy transactional work
* Experience with tax equity and/or debt financing transactions
* Exposure to renewable energy and/or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operate both independently and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
