Contract Administrator
Our client, a rapidly expanding renewable energy company is seeking a highly organized and motivated Contract Administrator or Paralegal to join its growing Legal function. This role supports an active M&A pipeline and a diverse portfolio of operating renewable assets across the U.S and will be based in Houston, TX or Newtown, PA.
Key Responsibilities
Document & Contract Management
- Reorganize and migrate existing documents, filings, and records into a new document management structure.
- Maintain ongoing organization of contracts and corporate files, including those integrated from newly acquired projects or portfolios.
- Act as the central point of control for contracts: track agreements, monitor expirations, support renewals, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Assist in drafting, negotiating, and administering NDAs and other standard commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with the legal team and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of documents.
Corporate Transactions
- Provide support for acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions.
- Prepare ancillary documents (e.g., officer certificates, beneficial ownership certifications) and manage signature packets.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Contribute to building and improving internal processes around contract management, playbooks, and template agreements.
- Support the development and responsible use of AI tools to enhance legal operations and document workflows.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience as a paralegal, contract administrator, or in a similar legal operations role.
- Experience in renewable energy, energy, or power markets.
- Exposure to M&A or corporate transactions is a plus.
