Compliance Lead - Fintech / Payments Licensing (MPI Focus)
We are partnering with a leading fintech company in Singapore that is expanding its regulatory and compliance team. They are seeking a Compliance Manager with hands-on experience in securing a Major Payment Institution (MPI) license under the Payment Services Act.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end process of MPI license applications and regulatory submissions to MAS.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, including MAS, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with Singapore's financial regulations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations and product offerings.
- Collaborate with legal, product, and operations teams to ensure compliance across all business units.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure ongoing regulatory adherence.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Proven track record of successfully applying for and obtaining an MPI license in Singapore.
- Strong understanding of the Payment Services Act and MAS regulatory landscape.
- Experience in building and implementing compliance programs and internal controls.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
