Staff Attorney - Healthcare Litigation
I'm working with a community-focused HealthCare Org in New Mexico looking to add a staff attorney to their growing Risk Management / Litigation Team. This is a mission- driven organization known for its commitment to patient care, innovation, and community health - the position has tons of room for growth and gives the chance to work alongside Sr. Legal personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Litigation & Claims Management: Ability to support and manage complex claims and litigation, including discovery, witness preparation, and collaboration with internal and external legal teams.
- Transactions: Ability to draft, review, and negotiate vendor, healthcare-specific, and a variety of other transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Advise on risk exposure, ensure compliance, and develop strategies that minimize legal liability.
Qualifications:
- JD, licensed to practice in NM.
- Experience working within a litigation setting.
- Experience with medical malpractice is preferred.
