Manager, Tax Reporting
We are seeking a Tax Reporting Manager to support tax accounting, reporting, and compliance functions for a global company. This role ensures compliance with ASC 740, manages tax reporting processes, and supports intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reporting under ASC 740, including effective tax rate calculations and external disclosures.
- Support cash tax forecasting and tax accounting for acquisitions, divestitures, and M&A transactions.
- Oversee accounting for uncertain tax positions and SOX 404 compliance.
- Conduct technical tax research, document findings, and implement recommendations.
- Assist in transfer pricing compliance and operations.
- Identify process improvements and lead special projects with tax implications.
- Support tax compliance functions, including return-to-provision reconciliations and tax return reviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA, CMA, or Master's in Accounting/Tax preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in corporate tax or public accounting.
- Skills: Expertise in ASC 740, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency in tax software (OneSource, Corptax) and data tools (Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Attributes: High integrity, problem-solving mindset, ability to manage ambiguity, and strong communication skills.
